An owner of a 1930s house, Candice, had their kitchen remodeled. The house was built in 1931 and the kitchen was renovated back in the ‘50s which clearly explains the knotty pine cabinets as well as the splatter-paint linoleum. Candice said, “Our goal was to return the room to what it might have looked like in the ’30s while adding the necessary modern conveniences.”
Most of the remodeling was cosmetic which means they were able to do many elbow grease and white paint. Though having that modern look, the owner was able to save many of the original fixtures of the kitchen.
